    DFW Airport Dedication Medallion 1973 in Lucite slab.
    Gold finish 7-sided (heptagon) metal medallion embedded in heavy Lucite (about 8.5x7"). One side of medallion shows DFW logo surrounded by curving text: "Dallas/Fort Worth Airport / Dedication / September 22, 1973" Reverse side has image of hand-built wings and curving text in Latin language: "Leonardo da Vinci / XIVLXXIII / Que Transit Sustine. Medal size about 1.75". Also embedded is the original paperwork that came with the medal. Presentation inscription on front to original recipient (I have blurred name in picture)
