Heavy base Genuine Taxiway Lights repurposed to desk lamps

Repurposed Genuine Airport Taxiway Lights.
Rewired with a standard candelabra 110v light circuit. I used a tall thin bulb to accentuate the Fresnel glass look.
These make fantastic gifts for aviation enthusiasts who are hard to buy for.
They are all used, so still may have some character "i.e. nicks, chips, scratches, etc..." but look very nice. The bases have been media blasted and repainted.
On rubber legs (see picture) so will not mar/scratch surfaces.
Thumb switch light control on cord.

Great as a desk lamp or night light. Great accent piece in a rec room. The heavy base is very stable for an area where it may be bumped.
These genuine taxiway lights were removed when the airport upgraded to LED.
I have separate listing for several different styles...this style has a stainless steel clamp and very heavy stable base. Another style, available on a different listing, has the globe attach with a 1/4 turn and lock screw. Check my other listings for options on unfinished lights, lights without bases, or different globes.
